A Quick Spot-On American History Lesson That You’ll Probably Never Hear In School

It’s amazing how poets can easily capture what we often can’t put into words. What starts off as a mock letter from the first lady quickly escalates into a hardcore history lesson that I didn’t even know I needed.


Lots of stuff gets left
out of history books. A fact mentioned at 1:07 in this video is one of
them. The White House was indeed built by African-Americans in the 1790s, as
